1. What this add-on is

StockExec is a Google Sheets add-on that reads values you enter in a sheet and sends a broker-instruction email from your Google account. It is not a broker, Order Management System (OMS), trading platform, or investment adviser. You use this add-on entirely at your own risk.

2. Agreement

By installing or using the add-on, you agree to these Terms. If you use the add-on for an organization, you represent you have authority to bind it to these Terms.

3. License

We grant you a non-exclusive, revocable, non-transferable license to use the add-on within your Google account(s). You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the add-on except as permitted by applicable law or an express written license.

4. Eligibility

You must be of legal age and permitted to use Google Workspace and email services in your jurisdiction. You are responsible for meeting any regulatory or contractual obligations applicable to financial communications in your region.

5. Your responsibilities

  • Data accuracy: You control what is entered in the Sheet (client, code, quantity, price, etc.). You are responsible for correctness and validating results before acting.

  • Regulatory compliance: You remain solely responsible for all securities-law, KYC/AML, client-consent, and record-keeping duties.

  • Email deliverability: The add-on sends email via your Gmail account; delivery, filtering, delays, and failures are outside the developer’s control.

  • Environment: You must maintain your Google account, quotas, triggers, scopes, and access.

  • Misuse: Do not use the add-on for spam, unlawful processing, market manipulation, or any harmful/abusive activity.

6. Data; Privacy

Processing is limited to the bound spreadsheet and the email you instruct to be sent. Minimal configuration is stored in Apps Script User Properties (BOUND_SS_ID, OWNER_EMAIL). No developer-hosted servers are used. Privacy details are in the Privacy Policy (incorporated by reference).

7. Third-party services

The add-on runs on Google’s Workspace/Apps Script platform and uses Google APIs subject to Google’s terms and quotas. Any broker systems or email infrastructure you connect to are third-party services you control.

8. Fees

Unless a separate written agreement states otherwise, the add-on is provided without charge.

9. Support

Best-effort email support: hello@arpitsethi.com. Support is not guaranteed and does not include custom development or compliance consulting.

10. Updates & changes

The add-on may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. Terms may update; continued use constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated via listing notes or in-product notice.

11. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Circumvent rate limits or quotas;

  • Upload or send unlawful, misleading, or confidential information without authority;

  • Interfere with others’ use;

  • Attempt to access the source code or hidden components except where legally permitted.

12. No professional advice

Outputs (emails, logs, messages) are generated from your inputs and are provided for operational convenience only. They are not investment, legal, tax, or compliance advice.

13. Disclaimers

THE ADD-ON IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITH ALL FAULTS AND DEFECTS. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE DEVELOPER EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY, OR OTHERWISE, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. NO WARRANTY IS MADE THAT THE ADD-ON WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS, ACHIEVE ANY INTENDED RESULTS, BE COMPATIBLE WITH ANY OTHER SOFTWARE, OR BE ERROR-FREE.

14. Limitation of Liability (Zero Liability)

YOU EXPRESSLY UNDERSTAND AND AGREE THAT YOU USE THE ADD-ON AT YOUR SOLE RISK.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW:

(A) THE DEVELOPER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES WHATSOEVER, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, GOODWILL, USE, DATA, COST OF PROCUREMENT OF SUBSTITUTE GOODS, TRADING LOSSES, FINANCIAL LOSSES, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES; AND

(B) THE TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY OF THE DEVELOPER FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE ADD-ON SHALL BE ZERO (0).

IF YOU ARE DISSATISFIED WITH THE ADD-ON OR ANY PORTION OF THESE TERMS, YOUR SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY IS TO DISCONTINUE USE OF THE ADD-ON.

15. Indemnity

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the developer from claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the add-on, your data, or your breach of these Terms or applicable law.

16. Termination

You may stop using and uninstall the add-on at any time. The developer may suspend or terminate access for misuse, security risk, legal requirement, or non-compliance. Upon termination, your license ends and you must cease use.

17. Export & sanctions

You represent that you are not prohibited from receiving the add-on under applicable export-control or sanctions laws. You will not use the add-on in embargoed or sanctioned jurisdictions contrary to law.

18. Governing law; venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Exclusive jurisdiction and venue: courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.

19. Entire agreement; severability; waiver

These Terms (plus the Privacy Policy) constitute the entire agreement. If any provision is unenforceable, the remainder stays effective. Failure to enforce is not a waiver.
